Lake Cares Inc., Food Pantry provides meals and resources to Lake County residents who need assistance. Lake Cares is an independent community food pantry governed by a Board of Directors comprised of representatives from local businesses and residents who care about our mission. We provide food and other necessary services directly to the people who need assistance in Lake County, Florida. We could not do what we do without the support of a generous community and guidance of the Second Harvest Food Bank, which primarily acts as the storehouse for millions of pounds of food and other products distributed to Central Florida food pantries.

Monetary donations allow Lake Cares the flexibility to purchase fruits and vegetables in bulk from local farmers. Lake Cares doesn't just pass out a box of canned goods. They provide customized food packs based on dietary needs. This includes fresh meat, dairy, fruits, and vegetables.

How can we help?

In addition to donating a portion of our August sales, we encourage all to consider making a donation. You can find a cash donation box by our registers, or ask a sales associate for assistance.

Regular and One-Time Donations
